سورة التكوير

إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ 1 🔖 تفسير

When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ 2 🔖 تفسير

And when the stars fall, dispersing, الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ 3 🔖 تفسير

And when the mountains are removed الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَإِذَا ٱلْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ 4 🔖 تفسير

And when full-term she-camels are neglected الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَإِذَا ٱلْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ 5 🔖 تفسير

And when the wild beasts are gathered الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ 6 🔖 تفسير

And when the seas are filled with flame الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ 7 🔖 تفسير

And when the souls are paired الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَإِذَا ٱلْمَوْءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتْ 8 🔖 تفسير

And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked الترجمة — Saheeh International

بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍ قُتِلَتْ 9 🔖 تفسير

For what sin she was killed الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ 10 🔖 تفسير

And when the pages are spread [i.e., made public] الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتْ 11 🔖 تفسير

And when the sky is stripped away الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَإِذَا ٱلْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ 12 🔖 تفسير

And when Hellfire is set ablaze الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَإِذَا ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ 13 🔖 تفسير

And when Paradise is brought near, الترجمة — Saheeh International

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّآ أَحْضَرَتْ 14 🔖 تفسير

A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. الترجمة — Saheeh International

فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلْخُنَّسِ 15 🔖 تفسير

So I swear by the retreating stars - الترجمة — Saheeh International

ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْكُنَّسِ 16 🔖 تفسير

Those that run [their courses] and disappear [i.e., set] الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ 17 🔖 تفسير

And by the night as it closes in الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ 18 🔖 تفسير

And by the dawn when it breathes [i.e., stirs] الترجمة — Saheeh International

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ 19 🔖 تفسير

[That] indeed, it [i.e., the Qur’ān] is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger [i.e., Gabriel] الترجمة — Saheeh International

ذِى قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِى ٱلْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ 20 🔖 تفسير

[Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], الترجمة — Saheeh International

مُّطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ 21 🔖 تفسير

Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجْنُونٍ 22 🔖 تفسير

And your companion [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) ] is not [at all] mad. الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْمُبِينِ 23 🔖 تفسير

And he has already seen him [i.e., Gabriel] in the clear horizon. الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ 24 🔖 تفسير

And he [i.e., Muḥammad (ﷺ)] is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَـٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ 25 🔖 تفسير

And it [i.e., the Qur’ān] is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. الترجمة — Saheeh International

فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ 26 🔖 تفسير

So where are you going? الترجمة — Saheeh International

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 27 🔖 تفسير

It is not except a reminder to the worlds الترجمة — Saheeh International

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَسْتَقِيمَ 28 🔖 تفسير

For whoever wills among you to take a right course. الترجمة — Saheeh International

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 29 🔖 تفسير

And you do not will except that Allāh wills - Lord of the worlds. الترجمة — Saheeh International
