Surah Ad-Duhaa

وَٱلضُّحَىٰ 1 🔖 Tafsir

By the morning brightness Translation by — Saheeh International

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ 2 🔖 Tafsir

And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, Translation by — Saheeh International

مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ 3 🔖 Tafsir

Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muḥammad], nor has He detested [you]. Translation by — Saheeh International

وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ 4 🔖 Tafsir

And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. Translation by — Saheeh International

وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ 5 🔖 Tafsir

And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. Translation by — Saheeh International

أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔاوَىٰ 6 🔖 Tafsir

Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? Translation by — Saheeh International

وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدَىٰ 7 🔖 Tafsir

And He found you lost and guided [you], Translation by — Saheeh International

وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ 8 🔖 Tafsir

And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. Translation by — Saheeh International

فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ 9 🔖 Tafsir

So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. Translation by — Saheeh International

وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ 10 🔖 Tafsir

And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. Translation by — Saheeh International

وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ 11 🔖 Tafsir

But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. Translation by — Saheeh International
